Ladakh has considerable scope in Handicrafts as the land available for agriculture is very limited. Handcrafts sector is practicing important roll providing employment for the Artisans. In order to boost the handicrafts activities in the district more skill development training project are taking place in Ladakh as there is great potential for marketing their end products due to present increase of tourist in Ladakh.
